We arrived all intact from Brussels airport after wandering around some before we left. Not because we wanted to exercise or any thing like that. We had a problem with the signage but arrived at the gate just in time to board.
We were welcomed to Rwanda by all the Millers plus Cal and Mimi Wilson. It is really fun to see our family in their own home instead of only through Skype. The driving is rather harrowing with pedestrians and motos and other drivers who think they are alone on the road.
Our house is lovely and we feel loved, well-fed and way over jet lag. Today David went with Michael to make rounds in Kabgayi in the hospital with the residents, went to the clinic where the docs had saved three patients for consultation, had lunch with the residents, and then came home. I toured the children's school and met the headmaster and some teachers who had gathered for a meeting, we also had a pedicure in anticipation of Zanzibar which ended up being a study in social psychology with two men from Uganda working on our feet. And the attitude of the local women was just very interesting. We are loving it here and this is just the first day.
Love to all family and friends.....
